QH Calypso Bay is a 1993, 16.1H, homozygous, bay tobiano National Show Horse stallion. He is the Florida bred son of the National Show Horse Champion stallion, Cisco Kid SF, and the great grandson of the National Show Horse Registry's first nominated sire, Key Largo. QH Calypso Bay is 3/4 Saddlebred and 1/4 Arabian. His Saddlebred lineage features the outstanding stallions Legend Time, Modern Creation, and Mr. Faustiana. His Arabian breeding is highlighted by the great Russian bred stallion, *Muscat. Like his father before him, this young stallion looks forward to a successful career in the show ring. QH Calypso Bay has been blood tested and confirmed homozygous by the University of Kentucky and will always produce pinto foals. Foals of Arabian mares bred to Calypso Bay will have the unusual advantage of triple registration in the National Show Horse Registry, the Half Arabian Registry, and the Pinto Horse Association. Calypso Bay is also an International Arabian Horse Association Breeders Sweepstakes sire. All of Calypso Bay's Half Arabian foals are eligible to be entered in the Sweepstakes program as breeding entries. These foals are then able to win significant prize moneys at Regional and National level show competitions. This makes your Breeders Sweepstakes foal by Calypso Bay more valuable and marketable!
